Driver’s policy

In order to work with us you must familiarise yourself and agree with our rules and regulations. We understand this is not for everyone but we have to ensure the best possible service for our customers.

  1. The driver (you) must be of good moral character and always maintain a professional attitude.
  2. The driver (you) must carry a daily vehicle inspection and make sure the vehicle driven is in good condition, from (but not limited to) tyres, lights, fluids, brakes, etc.
  3. The driver (you) must have all the documents valid and up to date to drive a Hackney or Private Hire Vehicle, for you (as a driver) and for the vehicle.
  4. The driver (you) must comply with all the council’s requirements and displaying all the correct livery, unless you can provide a dispensation plate letter.
  5. The driver (you) should make sure the vehicle driven is clean and tidy inside (at all times) and outside (where possible).
  6. The driver (you) should adopt a proper dress code: Smart casual for standard bookings or a business dress code for VIP and Executive bookings.
  7. The driver (you) should text the customer the day before with your details (with the customer agreement) or at least 2 hours before the booking if the booking was re-allocated or other special cases.
  8. The driver (you) should arrive 10 minutes prior booking and park safely while waiting for the customer.
  9. The driver (you) should provide water for each customer during the journey (1 x bottle per customer).
